LESLEY RYAN

I am artist from the North Coast of NSW.  I won my first art prize when I was twelve.  I have had studied under many well known Australian Artists including Pamela Griffiths, Nerida de Jong, Rodney Black and Angus MacDonald to name just a small number.

I also studied art at East Sydney Technical College. I gained my teaching qualifications and I taught for 8 years in various schools in Sydney.  I resigned from teaching and I worked for many years in the film industry, designing and producing television commercials and documentaries. I have also worked for marketing departments in Standards Australia and the State Bank of NSW designing and placing media for both organizations. 

In recent times I won the Ballina Art society prize for drawing and was Highly Commended in the prestigious Southern Cross Art Competition.  I have been involved in numerous group and solo exhibitions. 

I am represented in many private and corporate collections and I continue to study here and overseas
