As an Artist I am known as Bernard Davis

 

 

I live in Brisbane Qld, and I am basically self-taught. I have only been painting on canvas for the past year. Most of my paintings were created between 2007-2008, and my favoured medium is acrylic, which I use on stretched canvas.

 

 

I have always loved art and spent years being tutored by Paul Taplin, a brilliant artist who inspired me in the ways of abstraction, shading and detail.

 

 

Paul and I worked together in the 1980’s and 90’s designing amateur movie sets for various theatre productions around Melbourne using the air brush technique.
