I am inspired from where I live in a quaint cottage surrounded by garden and bush on two acres just 5kms from the well known Stockton sand dunes, surrounded by the beautiful surf beaches of Port Stephens in New South Wales.

From as long as I can remember I’ve always been interested in nature, studying colours in the sunset, different greens in the bush, changing colours in the mountains, bubbles in the surf as they break onto the sand and most of all the gorgeous petal of a pretty flower!!

I dream, and as a result I create, using paint or pencil as a medium. While most of my work is achieved in acrylics, I also love to experiment with oils and pastels and have now ventured into watercolours. My experience is from many years of having a business where my husband builds children’s furniture, and myself decorating and painting murals. I have gained a lot of experience by studying under many wonderful tutors over the years.

I have been teaching adults and children for 18years and now work as a special needs teacher.

I love my work, and to see the results that our art group achieve after picking up a brush for the first time is so rewarding.  To see the look on a child’s face as they paint their first masterpiece is uplifting.

I also like to work on commissions and am happy for most challenges.
