THESE DAYS ARTISTS MUST ADAPT TO SURVIVE AND THE INTERNET IS RAPIDLY BECOMING THE FAVOURED WAY TO PURCHASE AND DISPLAY PRODUCTS.

 

Given the highly visual nature of art, the Internet is fast becoming the accepted way to display artworks to prospective buyers, and the full cost of your own website can be very restrictive to a lot of artists. By joining this site an Internet presence can cost you approx $15 per month ( you could look at it as being the cost of one coffee a week !).

 

 BENEFITS:

*The webpage can be used as a catalogue to increase your sales.

 

*Increase your online presence with your own gallery page complete with your profile, exhibition history and up to 12 images

 

*Exhibit and sell your art to the world

 

*Pay no commission on the art that you sell

 

*Buyers contact you directly by email, therefore cutting out the middle man

 

*Be able to show your art to prospective buyers, friends and family

 

*This is a non-exclusive service so you are free to exhibit elsewhere

 

*Artists can include one link from their display to their own personal website or another site on which their art is displayed

 

*You will be able to display a web address on your business cards to direct clients to you.

 

*You will have your own email address, especially for your art . This would be "your name " @ allaustralianart.com.au.

 

*You are responsible for the packaging and posting of your artworks, therefore you can be certain that it has been packed properly by you.

 

*Up to 6 images can be changed monthly

 

*We will have a featured artist page and this will be changed weekly

 

We have been asked to add new sections for potters, glass artists and groups of artists. If there is a section you would like to see included, please ask.

 

Advertising is done internationally through Google, last month was New York, this month is Japan, and next month is Saudi Arabia . We are also advertising in the Coastal Life Arts Section, and soon in other publications

 

COSTS:

The cost of an Artist joining allaustralianart.com.au is $180 per year, or $95  for 6 months. This works out at approx $15 per month to have a website presence.

 YOU CAN TRIAL YOUR OWN WEBPAGE FOR 3 MONTHS AT A COST OF $49 FOR NEW ARTISTS TO THIS SITE. THIS OFFER WILL ONLY BE ON FOR A SHORT TIME, SO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS TODAY. 

 

 We have now started a section for art groups. This is great for the artist that does not have a large body of work to display. If there is a group of between 2 and 4 persons who would like to join together on one web page, please scroll down the side bar for "GROUP DISPLAYS" where you will find more info.

WHAT YOU NEED TO PROVIDE:

 

A brief artist profile of approx 150 words including any exhibition history and arts study 

 

A disc with up to 12 colour images in JPEG format in high resolution. This can include current works and works that have already been sold. We prefer this to sending your photos by email, as it means that we have a hard copy on file if needed.

 

Description must include: title, artists name, medium ( eg acrylic on canvas) dimensions of work, date painted and technique used (eg. palette knife), if applicable. We display these images on the web page with an allaustralianart watermark. This makes the images harder to copy.

 

A photo of yourself (optionial)

 

PLEASE NOTE:

 

All art must be original and painted by you in the last 10 years.

 

You must be an Australian artist, as this is the main feature of this web site

 

Set up time is approximately 7-10 business days from receipt of all necessary information  including photos of artwork and payment

 

Artists are acting on their own behalf, except when the art is sold through us, and then artists and allaustralianart.com.au enter an agreement establishing allaustralianart.com.au as an agent acting on the artists behalf

 

Please make sure that the artwork is well lit and straight when being photographed

 

If you wish to change some of your photos then the changes must be in by the 15th of the month , these will then go onto the website on the 1st of the next month. You may change up to 6 photos a month

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

All work is sold by you, and must be as stated on the website. eg original acrylic

Allaustralianart.com.au reserves the right to change its terms and conditions without notice. Such change will take effect as soon as it is displayed on the webpage.

Allaustralianart.com.au reserves the right to accept or reject any material for publication on this website    

Final selection is at the discretion of allaustralinart.com.au. We will not display art work which we think is not suitable or offensive

 By submitting your artwork the artist acknowledges that they have copyright to their work and that it is not defamatory in any way. The artist indemnifies allaustralianart.com.au for any damages resulting from a breach of this term by the artist.

Prices and conditions are subject to change without notice. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST for sales within Australia.
